There are 3 common ways to secure the tape at the mirror.

• Start the wrap at the mirror instead of at the top and wrap the bar tape around itself just enough to secure the starting end of the tape.
• Start the wrap at the top and finish by gluing the end of the bar tape in place at the mirror
• Start the wrap at the top and finish using electrical or colored plastic tape to secure the bar tape near the mirror

1. Unwrap about 10 cm (5 inches) of bar tape. Insert a bar plug into the end of the bar.

2. Place the mirror on the end of the bar. Get on the bike and position the mirror so you can see behind you. Fasten in position with plastic tape.

3. Wrap bar tape around the mirror up to the edge as shown.  Note that you can start to wrap your bar tape from either end, according to your preference.

4. Ride!
